Set Apart for the Work that God Calls
In Acts 13 we read that the church at Antioch was worshiping the Lord and fasting when the Holy Spirit said that they were to set apart Barnabas and Saul for the work which God had called them. What a powerful blessing to see the Bishops of the Assembly of God follow in this path as they laid on hands, prayed, and commanded five leaders I have been blessed to coach to their call to be Disciple-Making Leaders in Kisii Kenya.
In addition to spending one week with the Assembly of God, I also participated in the Leader of Leaders training in partnership with the East Africa Partnership. Over the course of three weeks in Kenya, I was humbled to engage with leaders from the Assembly of God, Reformed Church in East Africa, Covenant Church International, African Inland Church, and the Presbyterian Church. The Holy Spirit guided our path as we equipped leaders to live the leap from Survive to Thrive as disciple-making leaders!
